Were applying the CRBA and US passport now for our baby boy. Does my baby still need to do medical and visa interview? My fiance filed k1 and k2 and were approved already.

Info are great appreciated. Thank you

If your new baby boy is the one that you are doing the CRBA, he will not need a K2 visa. He will be a US citizen and will get a US passport.

Completed: K1/K2 (271 days) - AOS/EAD/AP (134 days) - ROC (279 days)

Assuming there's only one child in reference here:

If the CRBA is approved then there's no need for the baby to undergo the medical and visa interview because he will become a US citizen with a US passport.

If the CRBA is denied, that's the time the baby will chase the K2 visa and do the medical and visa interview appearance.

Yes. Only one child.

When my fiance filed,he filed for k1 and k2. And now were processing the CRBA for my our son.

I thought that its a k1,k2 and CRBA.

Thank you so much. I will just wait the result of CRBA for my son before scheduling my medical and visa interview.

If CRBA is approved then you will only pay for your medical and your K1 visa fee.

Thank you guys.

If only i had a passport already, maybe i paid the k1 and k2 right away. Delayed sometimes are better i think. Hehehehe. .

Thank you so much. Its a big help.

Your baby is a U.S. citizen!!! U.S. citizens don't need a visa to enter the USA. So no to the interview and medical for the young USC.

Yes, if you want to have the necessary proof that he/she has a right to US citizenship especially to receive a US passport which now becomes a "free pass" to get out of the Philippines if and when you immigrate.
