What papers do they return to you with your passport? I know I need a copy of his physical for the next step, where do I get that? Is that in his papers? And the packet he has to give the customs agent- do they take it and keep it or is it just in case? Aka the physical is in there?

His doctor sent everything straight to the embassy, so how were we supposed to get a copy? Help!

What papers do they return to you with your passport? The visa will be on the passport, there will also be a folder that needs to be turned in at POE

I know I need a copy of his physical for the next step, where do I get that? Is that in his papers? You will not need a copy of physical, but make sure to have Form DS 3025, you will need that for AOS

And the packet he has to give the customs agent- do they take it and keep it or is it just in case? Aka the physical is in there? Yes, they will keep, its theirs to process

His doctor sent everything straight to the embassy, so how were we supposed to get a copy? You do not need one and will not get one. Once your fiance enters the US, if you do not apply for AOS within 12 months of medical exam he will need a full exam performed by a Civil Surgeon.

Agreed, my fiancé received a copy of the 3025 along with her x-Rays from the clinic in Russia. Unfortunately, it was incomplete, so she needed another physical prior to filing the AOS. Took about ten days to get everything in order there, but it was easier than trying to fight the system.

Also, under no circumstances, do not open the packet you received for you POE.

Good Luck!

How do I get Form DS 3025,

If you did not get a copy at the medical, then you can try asking the clinic where you received the K-1 medical exam if they can provide you with one. If not, you will deal with filing for AOS without one. This post has all the details you need about the vaccinations and forms for AOS. At the bottom is even a bit of info about filing for AOS without a copy of your DS-3025, if you are certain you had all the required vaccinations at the time of the K-1 medical. http://www.visajourney.com/forums/topic/428381-i-693-report-of-medical-examination-and-vaccination-report/?p=6206232

All of your documents that are included in the sealed envelope will be sent to the USCIS and placed in your file.
