So, according to Judicial Watch, attorneys for the DoJ have admitted that all of Lois Lerner's "lost" emails are, in fact, backed up. They're just "difficult to find".

Right about now, I'm not certain that the scandal of the farcical attempts to prevent the emails reaching Congress isn't bigger than whatever scandal may, or may not, be contained in the emails themselves.

If I were the GOP right now , I wouldn't be in too much of a hurry to get a hold of those emails, as they appear to be the gift that keeps on giving in the run up to the November midterms. On the other hand, if I were the Democrats, I'd want the emails front and centre, because. With the rapid news cycle, any minor scandal could be done and old news by November.

Unless, of course, the scandal is a big one. Then it's a no-win situation for the blue team.

If only that were true. This preznit's administration has so worn down the average voter with a seemingly endless parade of scandals that they now seem inured to further O'bama lawlessness. This makes me mourn for the country and for all those 'low information' voters who were so willingly bamboozled by O's "transparency & rule of law" malarkey.

IRS Shocker: Filing Reveals Lerner Blackberry Destroyed. The device was wiped AFTER Congressional inquiry began.

In two elusive and nebulous sworn declarations, we can glean that Ms. Lerner had two Blackberries. One was issued to her on November 12, 2009. According to a sworn declaration, this is the Blackberry that contained all the emails (both sent and received) that would have been in her “Outlook” and drafts that never were sent from her Blackberry during the relevant time.

With incredible disregard for the law and the Congressional inquiry, the IRS admits that this Blackberry “was removed or wiped clean of any sensitive or proprietary information and removed as scrap for disposal in June 2012.” This is a year after her hard drive “crash” and months after the Congressional inquiry began.

The IRS did not even attempt to retrieve that data. It cavalierly recites: “There is no record of any attempt by any IRS IT employee to recover data from any Blackberry device assigned to Lois Lerner in response to the Congressional investigations or this investigation,” according to Stephen Manning, Deputy Chief Information Officer for Strategy & Modernization.

If you throw the cuffs on some IT fellows working in these departments you would see results very fast... Or even a threat. of doing so... Then you will hear testimony from an IT tech to the effect that it can be done in a single afternoon.
