They send both of them separately. I got mine about 2 weeks apart.

Check my signature. I got my Certificate of N. back 8 days after i received the passport and passport card. Some people get them the same day they get the passport and always come in separate enveloped. Some others like me have to wait a little more or less 1-4 weeks to get it returned. Keep in mind that Certificate and Passport are shipped back to you from different location/facilities. Don't worry, just check your mail box everyday. It will come soon.

I know that feeling - checking the mailbox every day, but still no CoN back.

A call to their customer service phone number reveals little information.
They just tell you that anything up to 3 weeks after the passport arrives is "normal".

I'd say if your CoN doesn't arrive within 4 weeks after the passport, give them a call.

Good to know that it can take more than 10 business days to get your CoN back. We will try to relax at this point.
