What the situation is today can be quite different tomorrow...

My wife applied in September and received in November

Typically - anywhere from 3 to 4 months (sometimes less, sometimes longer). Ours took almost 7 months.

Just make sure you send it when you are eligible (within the last 90 days before your 2 yr GC expires).

Currently, California SC is tracking around 2 months which Vermont SC is tracking 3-4 months. Things can change quickly....

Another question. His green card expires the 20th of September, so I planned on Sending in the paperwork early June, does it HAVE to be after June 20th, or can it be a week or two before the exact 90 days?

Did you call USCIS? Or try to schedule an infopass and get them to look into your application...

March is a long time. It's been a year now.

One other thing you can do is if you are nearing your N-400 eligibility and you are planning on applying for naturalization, then go ahead and do that.

I hope they find some answers for you soon HappyNathy! They put us through the wringer with this step. 18 months to be exactly. So, to OP....you really just never know!
