Hello,

Once again thank you to all of you have been posting on this forum - it has been a tremendous help! I just got an email with the following message from CRIS:

"Application Type: CRI89 , PETITION TO REMOVE CONDITIONS OF PERMANENT RESIDENT STATUS RECEIVED

Current Status: Card production ordered.

On April 27, 2009, we ordered production of your new card. Please allow 30 days for your card to be mailed to you. If we need something from you we will contact you"

Anyone out there who can tell me what this means in very basic black and white english :)?

It means that your petition has been approved and they have ordered production of your new card. It can take up to 30 days to make a card and mail it to you. When they are ready to mail your new card, you will receive another email, saying that your approval notice was sent.
