Hello to the good people of Nigeria and beyond,

I have just finished scheduling a B2 visa interview for my mother in law to join us in the US for a 2 month visit. All required fees have been paid and while I want to sit back and wait, I just can't help but ask, does B2 visa require Medical test and Police character report? I have read over the instructions on the interview confirmation I received but there's no mention if this is required or not. If they are required, how and where should I go about scheduling one? I know she can obtain a police report from Alagbon.

Thank you!

from what I understand those documents are only required if the person is going to immigrate into USA.

Not needed for most applicants, if she has a criminal history for example  she would need to supply details.
