Sounds like a B1.

“If you know the enemy and know yourself, you need not fear the result of a hundred battles. If you know yourself but not the enemy, for every victory gained you will also suffer a defeat. If you know neither the enemy nor yourself, you will succumb in every battle.”

Since you are from Afghanistan you have to apply for a visa and usually trade shows fall under B-1.

The U.S. embassy in Kabul is your place to reach out:

You can do a visitor visa. No need for B1.

Visitor visa allows to go to meeting related to jobs, conferences, etc. This sounds like something like that.

A B1 is, in fact, a visitor visa ---  visitor for business vs a B2 which is a visitor for pleasure (tourism).
