Is there a way to ask for an expedite for a k1 fiancee visa if the country where your significant other resides is going through a humanitarian crisis?

Yes - that meets USCIS expedite criteria. That being said, USCIS doesn't *have* to grant it.

Have you already submitted your K1 visa? It'd be really helpful if you could fill out the Timeline in your profile.

If you haven't submitted yet, you can submit a written request with your application. Regardless, you can try to contact your Congressperson, contact the USCIS Ombudsman, or schedule an InfoPass appointment.

You will have to prepare some evidence in case they ask something to back your request. You can get an article on the NYT or BBC, plus something specific to your fiance's situation.

However, the chances for an expedite are very slim unless you have something specific to show what's going on is worse for your fiance other people in his country.  If it's just based on the general circumstances, all petitions for nationals of the country would then qualify for an expeditell --- and that usually only happens for huge natural disasters (like major hurricanes).
