Congratulations!  I have read some posts on here that it can take 2 weeks to a month or even longer.  I know that is of no help and it sucks but it's really a waiting game.  I would give it a little more time and if you still haven't heard anything, pop an email over to the embassy to see what they have to say.  Best wishes on a wonderful future!

You can call DHL and ask if they have it.

Thank you so much... they say they cant locate it so their investigating it.....but i have a question for a good friend of mine....My friend file for her husband to get a green card to come live with her. He had his interview and picked up his visa in Jamaica. Once he picked up his visa he told her he didn't want her he only wanted a visa. He hasn't gotten a green card as yet. Is there anything she can do to stop him from entering and getting a green card

OMG that poor girl!  If he hasn't even entered the country yet you might be able to have her stop it by calling USCIS or even the embassy for what she needs to do if there is anything.  I'm really only commenting because I want to send my sorrow to your friend.  My heart hurts for her.

Call back to the Embassy, they should have the tracking number.  If not they can at least tell you when it was shipped.  With that date you can just go over to DHL let them know the date it was sent to them, and if you got a good person they will search it right then and there.  Security will ask if he has a tracking number, tell him just to explain what happened.  They try not to let you in if you don't have that number.  My husband visa was shipped and two days later we were instructed just to go over to DHL explain our situation and plans to leave the country as I was there.  They nice lady researched it for him, found his visa package and away we went.  it was later that day we received the email that his visa package was there and then another email to confirm that it was picked up smh.  Guess they just covering their tracks.

Tell her not to pay the green card fee, so it wont be issued.  If she has proof of what he said, then submit it to ICE.  Did she buy his plane ticket yet?  Call and cancel the ticket.

She can call USCIS and inform them that he only wanted the green card, not the marriage.

His visa will be cancelled and he be barred from entering the country for good or for maybe 10 years, or he might never be eligible for another green card via marriage.

There is the issue of visa fraud on her end tho - if she is adamant that she entered the marriage in good faith, she might not be in as much trouble.

Whatever she decides, I pray she'll be fine. But she should definitely report him.
