Hi all. Never thought i would have been writing a topic of this kind. Never thought that i was going to be under such situation. I entered the us and got married to my wife who is a citizen. Marriage purely real, i had no reason to come here except for her. Right now i'm in my first year of conditional green card. And October of next year would be due the renovation.

But the wife wants to go her way now. The reasons, she thinks i don't make anough money while she has to shopping almost every weekend, she wants freedom to meet whoever and do whatever she wants. I tried to talk and look for a solution about it but it looks like she already planted that idea too deeply in her mind. Well i guess if you read it as a third person, it's best to leave her.

This is something that i never thought would happen to me, but i guess that not everybody has a good start.

I can't go back to my home country, i don't have the guts to go and see all my family's faces, my friends, anybody. Specially my parents, they helped me so much for the marriage to be possible.

I wanted to know if its possible to stay here for me. I just want a new start for my life.

If you know anything about this kind of situation please help! Any kind of answer is valuable.

You can remove the conditions with a divorce waiver. Start collecting your evidence right away. If the marriage cannot be saved, divorce and file. Sounds like you'll be OK (in terms of getting your 10-yr green card). Good luck! :)

Thanks for the replies. Do i have to file the waiver after the divorce comes effective? Regardless the conditional green card due date?

Yes.mif your divorce is final before the 90 day window of when you'd normally file for removal of conditions, you can file right away. If you don't have the divorce decree by the time you need to file ROC, you file and hand in the decree as soon as you get it.

The petitioner of the divorce? No, that doesn't matter as long as you can provide evidence that you entered the marriage in good faith.
