Hi VJ members,

I logged into the U.S Department of State Consular Electronic Center. My affidavit of Support Fee has changed to N/A but my IV fee still show as Paid. Is this the change that means my case has been completed? I'm really anxious to find out but I need to be sure it's worth taking an hour off work to call. Today is exactly 60 days. Please let me know, thank you!

A very, very high percentage of users report that after seeing that change, they call the NVC and are told the case is complete. Call straight away; congratulations in advance to both of you.

Congrats! Yes, this is a case complete! Call NVC to confirm and ask if they've scheduled an interview for you already (it could be since this is the time of the month when they usually do). If not, hopefully, they'll assign one for you soon (probably towards the end of the month when it's the 2nd round of their scheduling)

Is the NVC close again today?

It doesn't say anything on their website yet. Just this concerning yesterday's closure: "Due to this closure, the National Visa Center expects a higher volume of phone calls for the remainder of this week. You may experience longer wait times when calling us. We regret any inconvenience this may be causing."

Just try and keep calling them!
