not specifically, from ICE. I did get the signed certified receipt from the post office. that's all, tho. So who do I call, the lockbox people in texas, ICe in DC, my local immigration office?

sorry, but the second thread didn't show up when I looked for it. Probably cause you deleted it so quickly?

ok, I called them yesterday, they called back today, said that on Feb 11, they DID accept my case and DID cash my check, gave me a receipt number and a phone number to dept of state in Portsmouth. So my bank must be messed up about the check's not having been cashed. I'll check into that part.

Sounds good. You were finally able to get your receipt number. I wouldn't worry to much about your bank, it will likely get sorted out. Take a look the K1 Flowchart, see where you are in your current visa journey, and start preparing for the next steps. It may be advisable to check-in at the Phil. Regional Forum, there is a lot of useful info for folks going through the Manila embassy.

Good luck on your immigration journey.

I got the second notice of action a while back. My fiance is to contact the Manila embassy next monday, 3-28, to get a date for her interview and she must go get her medical exams. She has the money for all that, so now it's wait some more. it's been 3 months now, not too bad (so far). I'm the US petitioner

Thank you. Knowing Bureaucracies as I do, however, I will not be all that happy until she's here. :-) Even then, we still have another year to wait for her daughter to learn enough English to come here and be ok at school here. She'll be with her grandma till then. it will be a big enough hurdle for her, leaving behind all she knows, being Asian in US, being the "new kid", without the additional problem of not speaking English. So we decided to wait until my fiance has her RN license and an income, and our daughter has learned a lot more English. Thanks again, this place is a great resource
