I wish it were true tho

My hubby has been calling USCIS practically every month and just about 2 weeks ago they told him that they were working on March cases. One of the April filers also did mention that USCIS stated this over the phone.

nabil and rachel ....have you tried calling them and reconfirming lately?

All they ever do is tell me that processing times are "approximately 5 months, so that means 5 months from when you sent us your petition".

You're kidding, right? I see no benefit, only harm in people constantly calling and wasting everybody's time and resources.

What is the purpose of distracting the call center from handling truly urgent queries? It's bad enough that it's very difficult to get through to a representative, and that it takes them so long to work on our petitions. Lets make it even worse for everybody by organizing dedicated "groups of people" to call constantly so that more resources are spent on answering calls instead of on adjudicating petitions. It's no wonder the process is so convoluted and takes so long!

Our petition is at Nebraska as well. We filed in May. I am on pins and needs as well, as everybody on this board. It's very hard and emotionally draining, but we need to be patient.

Sure it's tough, for everybody. Won't it be particularly funny if it will turn out to be YOUR petition NSC delays approving, because they have to answer so many silly calls?

(Nah! I'm just messing with you. I truly hope you will be approved very, very soon! You, me, and everyone! )

i don't think it matters as its the call center. I dont think they are the ones working on our cases. I dont care what they do i just want them to hurry up. We are just in step one i didnt think it would take this long. I think if i would have done the fiance visa this ordeal would be done. but theres nothing left to do but wait....
