Hi everyone! I just want to share you one of my siblings case. I have been looking all over the web if there are any cases that are similar to my sister's.

So here's the story, when she was 20 years old, my USC father petitioned her and was given a PD 02AUG2000 and her birth date is June 2 1980. On July 01 2001, NVC sent her a letter stating that she aged out and is categorized under F1 (unmarried sons/daughters 21 or older of USC) which means 10-15 years wait or even longer! They mentioned that they will hold on to her case and will notify her when her PD is close to become current. Because of that, my father lost track of her case and her paperwork he sent to USCIS due to moving from here to there, going back and fourth from US to Philippines. Fortunately, my father found one of the notice that NVC sent us with my sister's case # and some info.Out of curiosity, we called NVC to check if her case is still open, and baaam! :dancing::jest: It's been waiting for us to be processed. And because of the CSPA law that was passed last 2002, my sister's category went from F1 to IR2. Her PD became current waaaaaayy back before so it is almost impossible for her to proceed under F1 category. Now, she is ready to attend her interview tomorrow, June 5 2015. She's still single but engaged to her high school sweet heart with 2 kids together. Hopefully her interview goes well and smooth. I can't wait to see her again after 7 long years! I'll keep you guys updated :)

Wow. Hope it went smooth.

Her interview actually went well but she needed to request a CENOMAR from NSO near Pasay City Philippines which she did right after her scheduled interview. USEM will be the one who will be picking it up. Per http://ceac.state.gov/, her case was last touched today June 6, 2015 which is weird since it's a saturday in Philippines. I am guessing that her CENOMAR was delivered today.

Unfortunately, he has to stay with their kids and wait for my sister to come back once she gets her green card and marry. Looks like the processing time for that is 2 years more or less but they are both willing just for the sake of their children's future
