Hi all!

So I called USCIS last week and told them that I need to expedite my EAD as I have a job offer and I am pregnant and need medical insurance. They said someone from the local office will call me instead I got a letter saying that they cannot expedite as my case does not have evidence ?? They did not ask for any evidence when I called? I have a contractual job offer and a ultra sound I can show them and the piling bills:( if they need more. What should I do now??

This is how someone else was able to do it. They should have sent you a request for evidence. The local office won't call you.

Yeah, the information line is pretty useless. I have been trying to get an appointment at the local office but they have no availability:(

Hey guys!!

My EAD WAS approved today. I contacted the congressman for our county and they called USCIS and it was literally approved in 3 hours!!!

I am so relieved !
