yes because in USEM manila having co sponsors in K1 are really risky and as far as i know they do not allow it. Did they took your passport?

they will likely take your passport... you were given 221g to comply and when you comply that means you are good to go... so far that's how i see it. But as you have said they want the ITR and w2 of your fiance which is impossible for you to get one at this time. You just need to be patient in here... you can wait until your fiance files for his ITR and have his w2 most probably by next year... More patience is all you need... anyway as far as i know the 221g gives you one year to comply (correct me if I am wrong).

ohhhh... i feel for you... we all understand here in vj what frustrations, dilemmas, anxiety, etc. this visa journey give us! But then... patience is what really matters in every situation... and prayer with faith works!

or maybe our fellow vj members have any other info for you?!

God bless you and comfort you in this time or trial... :)

Well you need proof that it wasn't required to file a tax return for 2012.

As for pay stubs, send copies of the ones he has.

Yes I understand, that is why I mentioned needing to show evidence of not filing and why (no income)

Yes a letter explaining this with copies of his passport stamps, receipts showing he was in the Phils for the year, whatever you can gather. And for sure copies of his pay stubs he has so far.

Honestly I don't know. All I am doing is reach for ideas that may fill the bill and satisfy USEM.

I think they just want "proof" as to why there was no tax return in 2012.. I think a letter explaining this along with passport stamps showing when you entered the Phils and we you returned to the USA would help, and of course the recent pay stubs they asked for.

I am just offering suggestions
