Trying to expedite EAD process, welcome any advice or questions!

We filed our applications on July 1th and two weeks ago I got a job offer. It is a great opportunity for me and I do not want to just wait for my EAD. The employer agreed to wait for me till Sept 9th however I do not see the possibility of getting my EAD in normal process in the next two weeks..(finger print appointment August 6th). I have been trying different approaches:

1) calling USCIS asking for expedite and my criteria are sever financial loss and husband in the military, facing the possibility of being deployed oversea (the operator who helped me did tell me that in this case I could fit in the criteria of interest of US gov, just a little heads up for ppl who are in the same situation!)

2) making info pass, however, it is not 90 days yet and it will be a six hours driving single trip to get to the nearest field office which has availability! (I will still go if other approaches will not work)

3) getting ready useful paper work and doc and going to fax to the national center tomorrow

4) talked to local congressman and passed on my information (the assistant told me usually it takes three weeks to hear back, so anyone who wants to try this please apply as early as you can!)

5) asking husband to call military number and writing a note from his leadership to the congressman and see if it will help

I am waiting on the result. And advise and suggestions are appreciated!
