How i met my American guy... future love of my life

God works in mysterious ways…..

Last year….I realized that time flies so fast. I was in AUH (Abu Dhabi) for 6 years and did not realize how quickly that my age was adding up. I was 31 then, now… 37 !!!! So if 6 years have already passed… then only 3 years more....and I will be 40 !!!???… biting my nails….

My flatmates were telling me how could find Mr. Right if I always staying inside the flat. I seldom go out and mingle. I always tell them if it's time.. it's time…. no matter where… no matter how.. if there's a Mr. Right for me… he will surely come.

My eldest sister married at the age of 18 and the 2nd eldest married at 28. So in my heart, I always felt that I would be married by 38 !!! But of course, there's no guarantee on that.

I was fortunate and blessed that on my 4th year here in AUH, I was able to rent a room of my own. That gave me a way to cry every night to God, talking to him and asking what I have done to deserve being alone. But later I ask forgiveness for not fully trusting him.

Last year on September 2012….. everything changed so fast. My eldest sister and I were chatting on Skype and she told me about this guy who just recently connected with them and asked for some advice. This guy visited the Phils. 9yrs. ago with a group of Scuba divers. He was then committed in another relationship and I told him that my first impression of him was "He's a snob".

Little did I know that this guy would be my destiny !!!!

We where reconnected 07 September 2012 through Facebook. We chatted for hours and hours and later started talking on Skype morning and evening. Later, we decided that we should meet each other to reconfirm our feelings towards each other.

We met on the 28th of September, I flew from Abu Dhabi and he flew from Seattle into Manila. When we met…. it felt like we've known each other already for years, true love was certainly worth waiting for. No hesitation, no pressure, no doubts everything had fallen into the right place for me. My family, relatives and friends were so happy for me… and for us. Telling me that finally I met "The ONE"… "The love of my life".

Now our love grows more and more each day. We look forward to being together and spending our life as "One".

Our journey has been spectacular! And now, with God's blessing, I am getting married @ 38!!! Wheewww.... 10yrs. gap between my sisters history of marriage. I'm glad I'm the youngest of the siblings otherwise the sibling next to me will suffer and will get married at 48!!! hahahaha.

We pray that this coming 8th of August, God will touch the hearts of the CO in USEM.

And i am so grateful he flew from Seattle to be with my on my interview day.

WE already claim the goodness of His grace……. Thank you Lord!!!!!
