Hello everyone.

I went through some threads in here but still I am confused. Sorry if I missed my possible answer at some point.

I became PR on October 2008. After that I visited my country 2 times - first time I stayed there for 3 months and second time I stayed there for 2 1/2 months. Total 5-1/2 months. So can I file N400 on July 2013 i.e. 90 days before I complete the 5 yrs of my residency OR NOT???? or Do I need to add my total 5-1/2 months in July 2013 which will be then Jan 2014 to be eligible to file N400 OR this thing applies only when I stayed outside for more than 6 months???? because somewhere I read that I have to count an every single day. So help to solve this confusion???

thank you.

you're fine. Apply when your window opens. You have not been out enough for it to matter.

Yep no problem. I stayed out around 2 1/2 months total, no bearing on my N-400 date.
