I have a question regarding the G-325a form. My fiancee doesn't know some information about her father, namely his date of birth, place of birth, and current location. Her father left a long time ago and she has had difficulties trying to find the information. Is it necessary to have that information, or can I write 'unknown' for date and place of birth? For location, we assume he is in Colombia but don't know the city. Does anyone have any experience or advice regarding this?

Yep same issue, filled it all out as UNKNOWN because I have no clue where my father is. I could only fill in basic info that was listed on the birth certificate. Thats the only info I had of him. No RFE, no issues.

Yep, Unknown. My husband put Unknown for any of the info he did not know about his father. No issues for us either.

Cheque cashed at USCIS Dallas - 7th May '12
NOA1 Hardcopy received (notice date 4th May '12) - 18th May '12
NOA2 - 3rd August '12 (email notification)
Packet 3 received - 21st August '12
Packet 3 sent to Consulate - 18th September '12 (arrived 19th September '12)
Interview APPROVED! - 25th September '12
POE San Francisco - 23nd November '12
Married - 7th January '13

AOS/EAD/AP paperwork sent - 3rd February '13
NOA for AOS/EAD/AP - 21st February '13
Biometrics taken - 20th March '13

EAD and AP approved - 1st May '13

Application to register Permanent Residence/Adjust Status approved - 6th January '14
