Obama announced the end of Osama on the same day Trump announced his intention to run for POTUS. Coincidence, or is Obama running scared?

Trump said in an interview with Bloomberg News on May 1 that he had decided “in my mind” to run for president, but wouldn’t make an official announcement before the season finale of his reality television show later this month.

“In my mind, I have already decided,” Trump, 64, said in the telephone interview. “I am going to announce. But I can’t do anything until the show ends.”

The distinction between a decision to run and a formal announcement isn’t relevant under election law, said Paul S. Ryan, an attorney at the Campaign Legal Center.

“When you’ve decided to run for office, and you’ve accepted or spent more than $5,000, you’re a candidate,” Ryan said. He said Trump’s travels to Iowa and New Hampshire suggest he’s spent some money on exploring a candidacy.

Trump spokeswoman Rhona Graff didn’t immediately respond to a request for comment.

They don't even take him seriously in Palm Beach. I doubt that his running will be anything but a media circus and furthermore will only detract from serious candidates in the running.

He is running at or near the top of al GOP primary polls. Clearly, the people who need to take him seriously are.

At the top with 15-20% in favor. Yep he is a shoe in!

And by the way, no there is no connection between the two 'big' announcements of the day.

Homosexuals deserve all of the rights and benefits of marriage that heterosexuals receive. Women deserve to be treated with respect and their salaries should not depend on their gender, but their quality of work. I am also thankful that the great, progressive state of California once again voted for the correct President. America is moving forward, and the direction is a positive one."
