We vent thru the recident / citizen line and we're sent back to the tourist line, I guest she is not a recident until she goes thru costums.
The whole thing was very fast and easy. It lasted less than 10 minutes after the long tourist line. |

Arriving at JFK, we didn't know which line to go into. So we went into the US Citizens line with my fiance who is the US resident. The officer was very calm, too my finger prints and photo. Then asked us to follow him to another waiting area to be seen. We waited about 30minutes because the other officers were dealing with a few other people. When the lady came to our file, she reviewed it for about 5minutes before calling me up, and handing me back my passport. That was it! We were free to go and collect our baggage :) No issues.
It was a bit uncomfortable because we waited a while, but overall great, |

took him to a separate waiting room and questioned him for over an hour. Fiance said the guy was nice but asked a lot of questions again. threatened to have him deported. and took over an hour to finish, despite my fiance's connecting flight. |
