I got to the officer with my wife and he checked my passport, visa and took my fingerprints. He just asked if I am married or if I am going to marry. I clarified my visa category. After typing something in the computer, he called an escort and we were escorted to the office.
There, no questions were asked. I didn't even go to anyone, just sat in waiting area. I got my passport stamped in approximately 10 minutes.

The entry process was painless, the CBP sent my wife to secondary to receive her I 551 stamp and it took about 20 mins from the initial screening to receiving the green card endorsement. |
