Hubby had to do 10 days in jail for driving without a license and I was so nervous that they would send him straight to jail from the airport. I was graduating that Friday with my Master's, which we had talked about for years! I had him carry a copy of my graduation announcement in case he could ask to go to jail after graduation.
Thankfully, hubby said the worker who called him over was very nice and reminded him that he had to go to jail. He explained he was aware and would be going later that month (he had 30 days upon entry to turn himself in). He said she said that was fine, stamped his passport and said welcome to America! |
