Expected to face long lines and a long wait, but we were instead greeted by a near empty immigration hall. We were quickly taken out of line and brought to a desk where an immigration officer asked us some basic questions and collected the consulate package. We walked to a different room and waited for less than 15 minutes after checking in. The immigration officers asked several straightforward questions, and seemed satisfied when we told them about our plans to marry in 4 weeks. My fiance and I were together the entire time, which I had not expected. Overall, it was a quick process and the immigration officers were courteous and professional. |

The officer took the envelop, stamped the passport and welcome him to the US. No questions asked. He entered at 8:30am and the queue was short so no long wait. |

Ny husband came in to POE at about 8:30pm. Oddly there was a wait. He actually was going to miss his connecting flight but alhamdullilah his connecting flight was delayed. The officer was very kind. He only asked my husband to confirm his name, the address he was going to, confirmed he was coming on the spousal visa. I think there was a long wait because it was shift change for the immigration officers. My husband said there were no other people waiting. The officer was kind enough to walk my husband to the airport shuttle afterwards because my husband was not sure where to go. |
