Newark was very easy and the CBP were polite according to my husband. The longest time spent was just waiting as there were quite a few people there at the same time (mostly with shipping visas). There were no questions asked of my husband!
My husband said there was a woman who told the CBP Officer that she had to catch a connecting flight so please hurry - wrong thing to say! The CBP Officer got angry and yelled "everyone has a connecting flight!" Word of advice people - leave enough time between flights for your POE, you just never know! |

POE was great through EWR airport! He was out in less than an hour. They asked him his name, who was petitioning him, when were we planning on getting married. They did open his luggage and he brought this wooden salad cutting board as a gift for my mom and they asked him what was that for? Lol. He explained to them and they said ooook. Otherwise everything else was fine! I thought he would take longer so I was late to the airport so he waited for me sitting down and made some friends in the meantime, lol! Good POE! |
