Didn't get a stamp on my visa at first as border personnel thought I was entering with a temporary I-1551 since it was so rare during Covid times to actually be a first time entry. Once out of the border and customs area I had to go back to their office for an officer to retrieve my stamp. Crazy times! |

I actually was processed at Trudeau airport in Montreal. All went well, I had arrived about 3.5 hours in advance of my flight to Chicago, which turned out to be unnecessary since I was only held at secondary customs for about 20 minutes or so. Tho woman who processed me was kind and reminded me that I had 90 days to get married. No hassle at all! |

At the Airport:
He gave package to the officer at the air port. Was asked to take a seat and waited about 15 minutes.The officer called him over and said:"Is your wife here in Chicago?" My husband answered, "She lives in Indiana but is here in Chicago to pick me up." The officer said, "Welcome to United States of America!"
