Very easy. If you have a layover make sure you have enough time in between flights. My husband had a 3 hour layover which was enough.
Biometrics was taken at Albany NY Dept of Homeland Security on 10-23-2018 (the year prior to interview.) |

At the Port of Entry I was stuck in a very long, slow moving line and it seemed as there was a shift switch because at first there was a small amount of officers. The whole process took about 2 hours. First I was with the officer that took my whole stack of papers(packet) in the envelope I brought with me- no questions asked. Then I was sent to another officer and had to wait at least 30 minutes until they were ready- I was only asked when we were going to get married(the date) and informed about filing for AOS within the 90 days otherwise I would be in deportable status. |

Absolutely smooth process! Only explained to husband when he would be getting green card in the mail and that he was authorized to work. No harassment and no questions asked! |
