Nancy & Charles Seattle 2020-05-26 Yes - High The immigration officer's questions surprised us. We had traveled to the US on an I-551 in June 2019. We left the US and returned to Vietnam in August 2019. Ten months later we landed in Seattle. Here are the questions we were asked in Seattle, with our answers: 1. How long has it been since you were in the US? A: Ten months. 2. What did you do to support yourself while you were overseas? A: We have some investment income. 3. Has she (immigrant) already completed her move to the US? A: Yes. (I don't fully understand what this question means but didn't say so and didn't want to dig any deeper into this matter.) 4. What do you (USC) do? A: I teach English. 5. In the US? A: Working on it. (I haven't found a job in the US yet.) 6. How long have you (immigrant) had your green card? A: A year or so. These questions and his computer work took several minutes, a bit of a nervous time for us in this age of waterboarding and separation of migrant families at borders. Nevertheless, we were waived through. 2023-08-26
Gamisha C & M Seattle 2018-11-21 No Yes - High Everything went smoothly. There was no line at all. The officer didn't really ask me any questions. She just took the envelope and looked through. She took my fingerprints, told me I had 90 days to get married and Congratulations. 2024-01-15

I was waiting within 10 minutes with 10 people, mostly Chinese before me and had been asked some questions by the agents over there before get into the customs counters. They were really friendly and customs asked me; When i get marry? where is my fiance? Do i bring foods? and confirm me that i have to get Mary within 90 days.
