Gustavo & Daniel	Newark	2024-02-22	- High	POE Newark Liberty Airport. Direct flight from Lisbon, Portugal to Newark. Upon arriving at the booth I had my passport and a paper that the embassy gave it to me with information my immigrant visa and a space for an admission stamp. The CBP officer asked what that was and I explained I was entering the U.S. on a CR1 Visa. She asked me if I wanted to change my address and I wanted to, so I wrote the new address on a spare piece of paper and handed it to her. She wasn't able to finish the address change on the booth and had to process other travellers so they took me to CBP secondary inspection. I waited for around 20 minutes until they called my name and the officer said I was good to go. They stamped my passport with a different stamp they normally use (so bad it almost seemed counterfeit, it kinda got me in trouble when trying to open a bank account) and placed a 1 year expiration date for my CR1 status. SSN arrived 10 days after entry into the new address we gave it to them. The Physical Green Card was delivered on the old address they had on file (I suspect it might be because I pad the Immigrant Fee before traveling to the U.S. so they used the old address they had) Now for the Physical Green Card: USCIS Immigrant Fee Paid on 01/19/24. Entry in the U.S. 02/22/24. I used the fee payment confirmation number to track the Green Card. Status changed to "Card Being Produced" on 03/29. On 04/05 status changed to "Card Mailed to Me", and 2 year conditional Green Card was delivered 04/10.	2025-12-05

The officer was nice and asked where my fiancée is from and showed me to the second inspection room. There, a few other people waited with me. I hand over my envelope and wait for the officer to call me. After my name being called, he asked when is my wedding date and reminded me to get married in 90days.
