check case status and now it state that my case was recieved at the local office..??….
on july 17, 2018 we went to INS local office because temporary visa extension expired. They re extended again for another year..

On August 13th. We were happy surprise when returning home from a short trip to find a USPS priority mail envelope at our step front door with both the green card and the Approval Notice COA: IF1..
With this, basically we happy closed my wife concerns and processing. We have no idea when we to file for citizenship due to our busy life overseas.. |

This took awhile. We needed to go to Chicago twice to get 551 stamps. The first was good for 6 months. At that time the officer thought we would get the lifted conditions and or interview before it expired. However, after not receiving the card in 5 months we made another appointment to extend the 551 stamp another 6 months. 5 days later we received notice that lifting conditions was granted and card would arrive 30 - 60 days. |
