I had to do my biometrics twice as the machine had problems reading my fingerprints (it happens a lot, my prints are barely legible). Fingerprint scan still couldn't pick them up well enough to be accepted. Given a 90 day extension as had to provide police record checks from all the places I had lived in the US in the last five years & ink rolled prints. Approval granted without the need for an interview.
