Medical has been booked for March 7th. I received my passport back with the visa 2 (business) days after my interview. The I-864 was submitted on the day of the visa interview. The reason why there was such a long wait between the interview and the visa being issued is because Melanie was in the first trimester of pregnancy during the medical exam. Thus, the radiologist instructed us to wait until the second trimester before administering the chest X-ray. The embassy approved this delay, so after the interview in October they simply placed our case on hold until the results of the medical exam arrived in early December. The visa was issued within 2 days of receiving the medical exam results.	2022-12-19
