My spouse answered all questions asked by CO. CO laughed at my spouse and said marriage photos were doctored. Despite more evidence regarding trips(tickets), more photos with spouses families, affidavits from in laws and others, she insisted she was returning the case without taking a look at other evidences she submitted to her . The Embassy asked for further information pertaining to our relationship, we did, but to no avail. Our case was updated on April, 13th, 2016 by the State Dept. (ceac.state.gov) to Administrative Processing. The petition was received by USCIS on June 8th, 2016. The USCIS issued the NOIR on November 16th, 2016. The Embassy lied about our relationship; he totally made up a story. But, I had plenty of information to rebut the comments in response to the USCIS' Requst For Evidence. It is all about the legal ties that can be demonstrated through paperwork (joint bank accounts, joint property/land ownership, beneficiary information, etc.) On March 27th, 2017, OUR CASE WAS REAFFIRMED!!!!!!!! There is no need for lawyers, they really can do no more than you can, especially for a marriage visa. I responded by telling them our story and gave copies of beneficary information, land paperwork, more affidavits from family & friends, copies of my passport stamps from visits, insurance claim information regardiing a personal issue and social media timelines that totally blew the Embassy Consular Officer's remarks out of the universe!!!! My rebuttal was 6 pages long; it could have been longer, but I didn't want to start ranting. We are now waiting to hear from the Embassy about my husband's next interview in which they have no other choice, but to release his visa in which they have been holding hostage, for no good or compelling reason. I will make sure he has copies of all of the information we submitted to the USCIS just in case the Embassy gets stupid. It is a shame people have to go throught these problems, but such is life, especially living in a world with so much prejudice!! Stay encouraged!! Updated: June 27th, 2017 March 27th, 2017 - USCIS reaffirmed our petition April 27th, 2017 - NVC forwarded petition back to the Embassy in Ghana June 2017 - Reaffirmed petition back at the Embassy in Ghana (unsure of the exact date) Updated: July 27, 2017 July 20, 2017 - Received a letter in the mail from dated July 5, 2017 from the US Embassy in Ghana stating that my husband can come pick up a packet on any Wednesday in order to schedule his interview. July 26, 2017 - My husband received his interview packet requesting updated medical and police records, birth certificate, marriage license, etc.; basically the same information. The only new item I noticed was that we have to pay an Immigrant Visa Application Processing Fee of $325 the day of the interview. This is in addition to the Immigrant Fee of $220 that pays for the sealed packet and 'green card'. Updated: October 20, 2017 October 3, 2017 - His IR-1 visa was approved! The embassy asked very few questions: how many children, my job, etc. The CO even apologized for all the trouble we went through because our case was sent back in 2015. The embassy seems to be cleaning up their act. October 17, 2017 - He picked up his immigrant visa sealed packet. All is done....WE DID IT!!!!!	2018-05-23
