We applied for EAD with the I-485, by way of K1 we aren't required to pay for application fee - Class C09. The application was initially denied, stating "Case Rejected Because I Sent An Incorrect Fee." I responded to rejection letter with I-485 receipt, proof that we filed for it and didn't have to pay. We eventually received the EAD, but it took a long time to get, about 1 year. |
