TRAVS NA & Travs Online San Francisco CA 2022-08-23 2022-08-23 2022-08-23 2023-03-20 Yes 2023-03-20 Arrived 25 mins early to the interview location. Went through security to enter the building and went up to second floor via elevators. After getting off the elevators on second floor, got in line for check in. Check in agent asked for interview confirmation document, took picture and scanned both index fingers, one at a time. After that they asked us (I and my interpreter) to sit in our assigned section (A through F) of the waiting room. After that we waited for our name to be called by the interviewing officer. My interview started right on our assigned time. He asked me to hand over my interview confirmation document, current foreign passport, my green cards (current and expired) and also identification of my interpreter who accompanied me to the interview. Had both of us take an oath. After that, went through the civics interview portion quickly and I got my first six answers right. After that he went through my travel, employment and tax history. And then officer asked 1. How and when did I got my green card? 2. Am I currently employed or retired? 3. How many children I have, their date of births and where do they live. 4. Asked if I had a stay of more than six months outside of the country at any time in the past 5 years. I did stayed outside of US during Covid outbreak when I was not able to enter back to US due to travel restrictions. I had already provided all evidence with my application submission (original air ticket, flight cancellation and rescheduling due to covid) etc. Officer was satisfied with my response and evidence. After the interview, officer asked us to wait outside in the waiting area while he finished up the paperwork/assessment. He called us back in 10 mins and told that he has recommended me for citizenship and if I want to opt for the same day oath ceremony, which I did opt for. We had to wait again in the waiting area to collect my Oath Ceremony document which had my name and ceremony time info and is required to enter the oath ceremony section of the building. (Ceremony @ SF location happens three times a day; 1 PM, 2 PM, 3 PM PST) I had two hours to kill before my oath ceremony at 1 PM. So got some lunch and coffee and was back in Oath Ceremony line around 12:40 PM (same building but entrance on Washington street instead of Sansome) and after showing my oath ceremony document and ID, got in the building and went through security. Handed over my green cards and got my citizenship certificate and then did the Oath ceremony in 5 mins and I was out by 1:10 PM as a US citizen. Great experience from start to finish. 2023-03-20

BryceAndRebeca Rebeca & Bryce Online San Francisco CA 2022-10-09 2022-10-09 2023-02-15 Yes 2023-02-15 The interview was good, the officer was nice and the process was straightforward. He asked me the following questions: 1. Where is the Statue of Liberty located? 2. What happened on Sept 11, 2001? 3. Name one of the writers of the Federalist Papers. 4. What is the capital of the State? 5. How many voting members are in the House of Representatives? 6. What is one of the powers of the States? Then he asked me to read: Who can Vote? Write: Citizens can vote After that I was approved! The rest of the interview was regular questions and updating information for USCIS. He asked me if I wanted to do the Oath today, I said yes. He sent the request and exited his office. My Oath was scheduled for 1 pm (same building, different entrance). I received my Naturalization Certificate, and a packet with other relevant information. 2023-02-16
