We arrived 30 minutes early, went through security and got our number. We waited in the room for an hour before we were called. They tell me the San Antonio office stays very busy. We were called back by the agent and went back to her office. Nataly provided the information, she was sworn in, and the questions started. Not a single question for me, but my wife was asked many questions. SHe had difficulty understanding the questions completely and froze. She even forgot her phone number she was so stunned. No worries, the agent called a phone translator in Russian and had no issues after that on the questions. It was anticlimactic after such a long wait, but it is now finished. Hopefully we have her green card next week and will not need to worry about this process for two years :) 2023-04-28

The interview itself lasted about 10 minutes. I suspect we got a very experienced agent, she just asked me -So you met online and met once? She then asked how long I was in Ukraine, then asked for documents, I gave our lease, internet bill, release of information forms for insurance, , copies of insurance cards, ticket stubs for some concerts and movies we went to together, and then She asked my wife the Have you ever questions, she paraphrased some of them to make it shorter. She then said ok you are approved and went over the ROC stuff and gave us a paper saying Congratulations on your new permanent resident status. 2024-06-13
