This resulted with me receiving an interview cancelled notification on the USCIS website. I phoned the hotline to request my interview date to be upheld as it was less than 2 weeks until my interview date. The Tier 2 rep said that once it was cancelled there was no way to reschedule it. I decided to go to my original date in the hopes that we would be allowed in and that the cancellation was just a technicality. Lo and behold, we weren't even questioned about my application. We waited less than 10 minutes before we were called in for our interview. Another 10 minutes later we walked out with an approval! | 2018-12-23

I reached there at 11.00 am with my husband. (I was told you are very early). We waited there till 12.30.In the meanwhile, I was observing the applicants were called first then their spouses/ sponsors. The consulate officer came out and called my name. She asked my husband to wait outside in waiting area. Trust me they are very friendly. Firstly, she checked my passport & original marriage certificate. She asked how did i meet my husband. when did we get married ( I answered we had two weddings one was registered and other was hindu). Then she went through entire I-485 form line by line. She asked my for my pictures. I showed her entire album of my hindu wedding pictures. After pictures, she said I am approving you!!! And wished me congratulations. | 2021-05-10
