Our interview took around 40 minutes. Our situation had many specific circumstances where the officer asked for more explanation about it. I had a tourist visa denied before my K1 visa and that time, I sent my DS-160 to be filled for an agency that made up many information because they knew it that Embassy wouldn't approve a visa for me to visit my fiance/husband as a tourist. The officer took this as a lie and this is very very dangerous for any process with Immigration and I could be had a really hard time because this little mistake in the past. So they check all your past information and visas applied in the past. My luck is that visa was denied so that was my saving grace! So my big advice, never lie in any circumstance in this process because if they get your lie, you can be denied easily! Beside this hard moment, they took our extra and recent proofs to add in our process, and after 2 hours that we left the interview, I got the notification in USCIS APP that the case was approved. If your marriage is real and you're being 100%honest about all information, your interview will go smoothly! | 2019-03-13

I did this on purpose - I didn't want the validity of a medical exam to pass in the event of a long wait for interview. Yellow form says do not send I-693, but to bring it to an interview. If I do not need an interview, they will request by mail. "Ready to schedule interview" update changed online 2017-08-14 Rec’d text on 12/28/18 saying there was a status update - changed to “interview has been scheduled†Rec’d interview notice in the mail on 1/5/19 Rec'd card in production notice via email on 2019-03-05 Rec'd card in the mail 2019-03-11 | 2021-04-22
