Tpeach Y & T& K1 Charlotte NC 2018-12-19 2018-12-27 2019-01-16 2019-07-30 2019-08-20 Yes contiuned for medical update to within 60 days unless IO actually looks into what I said that K visas didn't require the medical within 60 days of interview. Was told he never heard of this and would investigate it and let us know in a week. I almost bet there will be a RFE for the unneeded medical. RFE received for missing medical from a panel physician according to actual letter. Sealed packets delivered to POE. Had to retake the medical even though we saw the documents in the packet when the officer was looking for them. Stated they were expired so didn't understand their policy for the K visas and required us to spend more money to have medicals done again. Don't know why the vaccination reports would change in a short amount of time that was completed in her home country. Still less than one year from issue before filed for AOS. Retaking the medical and waiting for the RFE and adding the medical and wait times for return of Labs added another 20 more days of waiting and a additional $1200 for medicals for spouse and 2 kids. 236 days from I-485 received date to approval date. 2019-08-20

Vika+Joel Viktoriya & Joel K1 Portland ME 2019-02-05 2019-02-15 2019-05-28 2019-03-15 2019-05-28 2019-08-19 Yes No The interview went great, lots of jokes and laughter. My husband and I were interviewed separately, first my husband then me. Asked us pretty much the same questions. It appears I lack 2 vaccinations, thus I will have to do those and then they mail my green card ; -p ... For those who worry that you guys didn't have an actual wedding yet, just got married within 3 months, they take it absolutely normal. We want a beautiful wedding with both our families present, such things take time, my family will have to get visas first for example... so say it as it is. I had 233 pages of documentation to present as evidence, photos and our Facebook communication for the whole time me and my husband know each other, utility bills and bank statements, insurance documents, other bills such as dentistry etc... nothing of these weren't even tauched during the interview! But anyway it's better to be prepared, the size of the evidence in my hands definitely impressed the uscis officer :-D So questions that were asked: What's your name? When you were born and where? What's your spouse's date of birth? When did you meet? When did you 1st meet in person? Where did you meet in person and where did you travel? Asked to tell a little about our trips together. Where do you and your husband live now? Describe the place. How many bedrooms are thete in your house? What's you husband's job? Do you work now? How do you spend your time at home when your husband is at work? Does your husband have siblings? Do you have brothers or sisters? Are they married? Do they have children? Where do they live? What's your citizenship? Is your family in Ukraine? So the rest of the questions were asked according to the application just to make sure that any of the data you gave werent changed (adress, phone numbers etc). After that the pretty young lady told us that she will recommend our case to be approved and congratulated us. As a whole the impression is great, it was really pleant and fun experience! So good luck to you guys! 2024-03-25
