Claudette & Jeff K1 Detroit MI 2019-06-22 2019-07-01 2019-07-25 2019-10-31 2019-10-31 Yes 2019-11-07 It was barely even an interview. The officer didn't look at a single piece of paper we prepared. All she did was confirm the answers we had on our green card submission form and then said we were approved. We got the green card before we heard back for the EAD or AP so we were told those will be denied now because we have a green card. 2023-02-23
Mangomochi Mochi & Mango K1 Jacksonville FL 2019-07-24 2019-08-02 2019-08-20 2019-10-31 2019-10-31 Yes No We weren't informed on the day whether or not I had been approved. We received an NOA stating my I-485 had been approved on the 5th, which was sent out on the 1st, but dated the 31st. I opted to put 31st as approval date for this reason, but I'm writing this comment as to try help relieve any anxiety for others who are not verbally approved at the interview. 2021-10-31

CNC2019 C & N Other Phoenix AZ 2019-03-26 2019-04-03 2019-04-22 2019-10-31 2019-10-31 Yes No I came in the US on 2014 with a B2 visa. Married my long time girlfriend in 2018. On 9/16/2019 Uscis scheduled my AOS interview on 10/31/2019. Our appointment was at 2:20pm. We checked in at 2:00pm and were called in at 2:45pm. We brought our 11month old baby with us during the interview. Trust me, it helps. Lol The officer greeted us and explain the whole process and asked us to take the oath. We took our seat, fingerprinted me and took a photo of me, then interview began. 1. IO asked for both our driver's license 2. Questions to my wife: He asked my wife's name, when did she came in the US (she is a naturalized citizen), reason why she came back home in 2014 3. He asked me my name 4. How many times i have been in the US? I said 2 times. And asked me again what was the reason of my most recent visit in the US. 5. He asked me if i still have the proof of my first visit in the US. I said no because that was 15 years ago. 6. He asked my wife how we met and when did our relationship started 7. He asked for the original copy of my birth certificate, our daughter's birth certificate, our marriage certificate, and my wife's passport. 8. He asked why did i decided to overstay my visa and did i start working in the US. 9. He asked if there's anything we want to add on the documents we submitted to help our case get a decision. I gave him our car insurance, medical insurance, IRS joint tax, my wife's 3 months pay stub, and some more photos of us. 10. I485 yes or no questions. One of them is have you ever been denied a visa in the US. I said yes. That was the time i was applying for F1 visa while im here in the US with a B2 visa but was denied. IO just made a note of that. 11. He asked me to sign the i485 again He said he is recommending us for approval and gave us a note regarding our interview. On 11/01/19 status on my uscis account was updated to case was approved. 2019-11-04
