BragdonLaw Bragdon & Robert Other Nashville TN 2019-09-13 2020-01-16 2020-01-16 Yes 2020-01-24 Easy process for us, even with our lawyer not showing up to the interview. The interview pulled out our stack of documentation and tossed it on the desk, saying "look at what I had to go through last night, you guys are approved and turned in more than enough information" 2022-11-09

JonMark MS & JS K1 Los Angeles CA 2019-06-17 2019-06-17 2019-07-10 2020-01-15 2020-01-15 Yes 2020-01-24 Interview was easy. It was a matter of proving that we were indeed a couple. We brought our mortgage document, documentation that he is the benefactor of my life insurance and TSP (retirement account for government employees), dental and health insurance cards, joint savings account, photos of our trips in the US and Philippines (he used his AP before our interview), marriage documents, photos of us with my and his family and a copy of our I-864. The interviewer mostly asked my spouse questions about his life, our wedding, what I do and where I work, how much I make and made last year, if we were filing our taxes together, why he wasn’t working at that time, what my family’s and his family’s reactions about getting married (we are a same-sex couple), if we had problems communicating (I grew up in the Philippines so Tagalog was not a problem for me and he stressed we were the same age so and have a lot in common) and if we were related (we have the same last name). The interview was about 20 mins and if my spouse didn’t know the answer to a question, the interviewer would ask me to explain instead. At the end of the interview, the interviewer congratulated us and my spouse got his GC after a week. 2020-05-07
