Owen & Kristen K1 Seattle WA 2019-03-22 2019-03-27 2019-04-17 2021-03-15 2021-03-15 Yes The experience at the Tukwila was brilliant. My wife and I turned up 15 and checked in 15 minutes before the scheduled interview at 1:30pm. We then waited for our ticket number to be called. A officer greeted us and was very pleasant to speak with. He swore my wife and I in and then he proceeded to update my I-485 as we filed it almost 2 years ago to this date. We then asked my wife and I some pretty straight forward questions about our marriage. We prepared thoroughly for the interview but to be honest, he didn't ask for our wedding certificate or any of my wife's (other than her WA driving licence). He asked several times where we got married. The officer originally advised I needed to provide an updated vaccinations form. However, after I advised him that my full medical should be in my file and that I completed it within 2 years of the date I filed my I-485, he checked over the guidelines and corrected himself. He was very patient and after looking at some of the pictures and a letter from our insurance. He said he would most likely get us approved. He told me to check my status within 2-3 hours and pretty much congratulated us at this point. It was the best feeling! He asked if we had any questions and I asked about the citizenship timeline. He said I could apply for citizenship in Dec 2024. When he escorted us out of the offices he said "see you in 3 years". The officer was very friendly and even made a few jokes with us. My wife and I are so excited! God Bless the USA! 2021-03-16
