There was some confusion about what "contraindicated" means on the vaccination form. My husband (the applicant) is allergic to penicillin so at his Medical Exam at Knightsbridge they couldn't give him all of the required vaccines. He went to another doctors office to give him the vaccines, but by then his medical already said "contraindicated." We read a few things saying that contraindicated would still get approved, but at our interview they said we had to go to a civil surgeon. Luckily we found one that would transfer his vaccination records over instead of having to do the full exam which only cost us $20!!! We sent that in along with a form that our interviewer gave us and we got our green card back in less than 2 weeks! | 2019-01-26

She swore us under oath and asked us how we met, and a few questions regarding pictures from our initial K-1 petition. She then asked if we had any joint documents to show co-mingled finances, assets, or bills. After a few more questions, she told us she was happy to approve us and sent us on our way. Before we even made it out of the building, we received our card production electronic notifications. So happy to be done with the waiting for another stretch of time. | 2019-03-20

My wife got asked questions off of the i-485, then we were asked about how we met and if we had any paper work showing our names and finally about our recent trip. We were approved there and were told that we would receive her Green Card in 7-10 days. | 2020-12-04 |
