Smooth as silk: took less than 30 minutes inside the embassy. Was called up twice to an interview window: once to submit documents and then again for questions under oath. The questions were very straightforward: started with my name and age, along with my fiancé's name, address, date of birth. The gentleman then asked about how my fiancé and I met and how many times I had visited the US in the past year. His final question was when we were planning to get married. He looked over my medical report and proof of savings since I didn't bother with an affidavit of support. That was it! He said my visa was approved and I'd get an email with instructions on when/where to collect it.
So relieved!

Husband had no issues at the interview. He says it went very quickly and easily. No hard questions, just asked about his relationship a little bit and approved him. javascript:emoticon(' ')javascript:emoticon(' ')

Hi everyone,
I always found these embassy reviews really helpful, so hopefully I can help someone else now I've been through it myself (AND BEEN APPROVED!)
My embassy appointment in London was scheduled for 8.00 am, 11/01/16. I wanted to arrive at 7.00 am, as many people here said there was a long queue if they arrived later; however,I arrived at 07.20 am and there were only a handful of people waiting in line ahead of me. I travelled to London with my younger brother, and he queued with me until I actually entered the embassy, where afterwards he walked down the street to a Starbucks to wait. The embassy is pretty central and so there are places for people to wait if they are not entering the embassy with you.
Embassy staff and security only really began sorting and organising at around 07.30 am, and by that time the line had grown very long behind me. An embassy worker walked along the line asking those who were attending the embassy for a non-immigrant ... read complete review

Arrived 30 minutes before the 8am appointment.
Admitted after normal airport style security.
Waited for my ticket number to be called, 8.15am.
Presented the required documentation, being the originals of certificates already presented to the NVC.
No problems, told to take a seat for my interview.
Called at 8.40am for my interview, was asked to swear that I told the truth etc. Was asked how I met my wife, if we saw each other much, where we were married, if I had met her parents, then about her job. After that I was asked if I was going to carry on in my profession or change.
All approved, and a congratulations from the clark.
Passport ready for collection 7 days after the interview, visa indicated as approved by the NVC 4 days after the interview.
Fly to the US the day I collect my passport from the couriers office.
Very easy process after all the waiting.
One thing is to make sure the... read complete review

Arrived at just before 8 for 9am appointment. Was directed into the line for 8am non-immigrant & ALL immigrant at any time.
Was through security & into the embassy at 840.
Got my ticket (I'll always remember I912) & waited 25 mins to go & produce my documents. Really nice guy who was quite happy chatting away while he was processing them.
Sat back down for about 45mins till my number pinged for the interview!!
Very nice lady, very informal chat - basically she said "so tell me about your story". She asked where she worked, where we would live. Chatted about my job in the uk but more because she was interested in what I did!
At the end she said that she hoped we'd be very happy & to enjoy it.
APPROVED.
Painless experience & if you're genuine then you should have nothing to worry about.
The experience at my medical was far worse!
If you're needing a central London hotel on a serious budget then the Belgrave Hous... read complete review
