I was incredibly impressed with the efficiency of the US Embassy in Singapore.
Some take-aways:
Quick turnaround: In my case, there was a minor error on a document I submitted. The embassy staff pointed it out during the interview and even gave me clear instructions on how to fix it. Within a few hours of submitting the corrected document, I received confirmation that my case would be processed further.
Clear communication: The embassy kept me informed throughout the process. They responded promptly to emails and provided updates on the status of my application.
Fast processing: Despite a national holiday in between, my visa was issued within days of submitting the corrected document.
Overall, my experience with the US Embassy in Singapore was exceptional. Their efficient service and clear communication made the entire visa application process much less stressful than I anticipated.

It has been about a month since my approval, so I figured I finally sit down and give a proper review. I received my Packet 4 on 12 March 2024 and immediately paid the visa fees so I can book the next appointment. I was very lucky to snag an interview for 15 March 2024, 10am. Don't be alarmed if you don't see any available appointments, just keep checking every day and eventually one will pop up.
- Interview Day
I took Grab to the embassy just for a peace of mind, but you can take the train to Napier station as well - the embassy is located right beside the station. I was dropped off at the main entrance where a few people were queuing outside the door, with a security guard ushering them. When I approached the guard, she guided me to the waiting area at the parking lot. There is a shelter with benches and there is a greeter that will check your appointment letter. Very friendly consulate.. however was missing the certified divorce decree.. they require the original not the copy.. so got the original posted and submitted and I was approved immediately after..
