Our appointment was at 6 30am. We arrived on time and there was already a big line-up for 7 and 7 30am appointments, but they ushered us to the front. We were there with my fiance's 2 year old daughter and my fiance's mother. We hoped that they would let Mom in to help watch the 2 year old, and I knew from other reviews that I could probably go inside with my fiance. They wouldn't allow Mom inside, only the petitioner and applicants, so it was me, my fiance, and her child. We ran into a problem upon entry though. I had not printed the confirmation page for the appointment. For some reason I thought I only needed the e- mail confirmation. I think I knew about the confirmation page back when I set the appointment, but forgot that I had to print it. Anyway, I was really stressed. I hurried to an internet cafe with one of the people outside looking for customers. Since I didn't bring my phone, I couldn't access my e-mail from the cafe. I needed to receive a confirmation text on my phone (r... read complete review

We filed via DCF option. We had a good experience overall. After submission of the I-130 we were requested to submit more documents to the embassy about a week after submission (December 20,2018) (December 12 was the submission date). We finally submitted the extra documents at the end of January and was approved for interview in the first part of February. We decided to have our interview on March 25, 2019 (we were not in a hurry). The whole interview process went smoothly. We paid the fee at the embassy. Though it caused a delay in our interview process because after part 1 of the process we had to pay on the 2nd floor. Once paid the interview process continued. We were eventually given a 221g and needed to submit more documents because they did not accept my late wife's death certificate or the marriage contract by itself. We were asked to submit my sponsors tax transcripts, the PSA copy of the advisory on marriages (they call it the CENOMAR), and the PSA copy of my late wife's deat... read complete review

I had a very smooth experience when i did my interview. As a matter of fact my fiance requested to expedite our case in US Embassy( HK) because my working permit in HK. They are very considerate and they called me asap and asked me if i wanted to pick up my packet 3 or wait for them to sent it to me. I chose to pick it up and decided to bring all the necessary documents. After 2 weeks of completing the requirements i had my interview and its quick. maybe because they already had all the documents and verified. Questions are : My name. b-day, Fiance name and b-day, his job, his address, how we met and how long he stayed. She chose 1 photo and asked me to identify the persons in photo and after that she said congratulation i approve your visa.

My fiance' passed the K1 interview today, and she said the process was straightforward and professional. The wait in Manila was long due to heavy volume of interviewees, but when it was her turn, it was a smooth process. I'm just grateful that we will be together in a few days
