The Cenomar was only updated within the last year. The requirements are that it be renewed within the last 6 months. The day after the interview my fiancé sent the updated Cenomar via 2go services to the US embassy in the Manila. We are awaiting a status change to our case. It is currently in Administrative Review.

It’s been almost two weeks since my interview has been finished and fortunately they approved my visa. I was scheduled for an interview last April 29, 2019 at 06:45am and I got at the USEM at around 5:30am in the morning. There were already lots of people outside that are preparing for the interview and appointments. After a while, they started calling people who have 06:45am interviews to line up and prepare to enter the embassy. You just need to prepare the DS-160 form so that they will attach a bar code onto it so that that will be your reference when you get inside and wait for the interview. I have gone through security and no phones are allowed, I came with someone else have them carry my phone for a while until my appointment is over. When I entered the main lobby, we were instructed to take a seat and the seat location will depend on the barcode that is attached on your DS-160 form.

When it is my turn, the first part is I got interviewed by a Filipino con... read complete review

Visa approved yesterday. The overall process went pretty smooth.
The lady who did my pre-screening was very nice and accommodating.
No other documents asked except the usual requirements i.e. cenomar, birth certificate, police clearances and the mrv slip.
The actual interview only took 2 minutes. Questions asked to me were: my fiance’s name and address. Thats it and he handed me some papers, told me my visa is approved. The consular officer was a very nice guy.
The whole process from waiting until i walked out of the embassy took me 2 hours.
Goodluck to everyone else who are still in the process of getting their visas approved. A piece of advice, please prepare all the documents. Although nothing was asked from me, i saw the other beneficiaries yesterday struggling to provide their supporting documents. Its better to be overwhelmed with a huge pile pf papers that have nothing to hand over when its required.

We got approved today. They didn't ask for affidavit of support or any other relationship evidence. The interview was only about 5 minutes. I was only asked the ff questions:

1. "How did you meet your fiance?", I explained we met on a freelancing website when my fiance hired me to help him with some software projects, consul and I even joked about how he hates the COBOL programming language.
2. "What does your fiance do?". I explained his job.

And then the consul told me to wait a few moments, and then maybe after a minute he just said I am approved and will get my visa in about 3 weeks.

It was surprisingly easy.
