Took just over 2 hours. Pre-interview Filipino clerk didn't like that the approved packet has photocopies of divorce decree instead of "dry seal" (this misname for embossed seal) certified copies. Interview with American officer was very short and pleasant.
End result was that we were approved but would not be processed until we sent the consulate an LBC with her passport, a form and the certified decree copy. It cost 140 to get an international FedEx send them 480 peso for the LBC. Annoying but it's done, just a little over a week delay to our plans. Good thing we left a 3 week buffer from the interview date when booking travel.

Pre screening was the worst part. My Fiance did not have her orignal birth certificate so we had to rush back to the hotel to get it. The pre screen agent gave her 30 minutes or he would give her a 221g. My fiance and I returned back to the hotel and back again to the Embassy in 15 minutes.
The interview took about 10 minutes, very conversational. The Consular made it seem like 2 friends chatting. It was window 64, a middle aged American Woman.
Q: So tell me about your fiance? A; He is kind, funny, loving and devoted to his family and children
Q: Oh, so he has children? Tell me their names and ages? A: (she answers correctly)
Q: Where does he work and what is his job? A: (she answers correctly)
Q: What are your wedding plans and date? A: We do not have a date yet but we plan to get married at his house before the 90 days expires.
Q: When did you last see your fiance? A: 2 minutes ago, he is outside.
Q: Oh, when did ... read complete review

My wife had her Official interview yesterday 21 April 2025. It was a very good experience. She was called to window 67 greeted by a very female interviewer. She was very prepared and took all documents that were previously uploaded. We were worried because she had changed her passport to her married name which wasn't the name used on her application. This was not a problem as long as you bring both passports to the interview. The interviewer ask very basic questions such as:
1. Where did you meet your husband?
2. When did you get married?
3. Why do you want to immigrate to the US?
4. Where will you be residing in the US (Town, Address)
5. Do you have children?
6. Have you ever been denied a visa in the past?
7. Was you husband previously married?
The entire interview took 10 minutes. The only document that they ask to see was a divorce decree with an official notary seal, which she had. After that they ask for ... read complete review
