Interview was quick. Since my fiancé is pregnant, she was in the express lane with the senior citizen (as she stated). Majority of the questions was asked by the Philippine consulate at the embassy. No difficult questions or other documents was asked. Very casual conversation with the US consulate for 5 mins. She came with all documents needed. (3 kilosl worth). Her appointment was 6:45. She arrived at 6:10am. She finished the interview by 8am. Visa approved!

Hi, I just want to share my interview for K1 visa yesterday (November 23,2016). In the pre-screening, a woman asked me for my DS160, birth certficate, CENOMAR and asked if I brought an evidences of relationship. And then after that is the interview (got nervous) . An American consulate interviewed me. He just asked me a two questions. 1. How and when did you meet? (Of course, I told him all the information he needed.) 2. Does your family like him? (And I said ,YES! ) He did not asked for my evidences. And then after that, I saw him reading in his computer a few minutes. Then he just said: "OK, your visa is approved! Register your delivery address to get your passport. You will get your passport after 2 weeks" I was shocked because I thought he would asked me a lot of questions but I'm so lucky he didn't. And now, I'm waiting for my passport to receive.

Hi VJ members!
Just to share my experience during my visa process. I know a lot of people who shared their experiences have helped me a lot.
My medical at SLEC was great and did it for 2 days. First day, i went through physical exam and vaccines. I got there at before 6am and number is already 50 in line. But all is good when i got the result the next day. They stamped "N" on my passport. Not sure what it means but i assume it was normal then.
During my visa interview, everything went well. Since i brought every pieceof documents that i may be possible to show and i ended up been asked of my passport and his passport, my annulment and my fiancé's divorce paper. The consuls didn't asked for any of our financial papers nor our photos and evidences together. I may just got lucky and blessed. In the final interview, i was asked if how we met and talked more about Hawaii and that's it. The most awaiting part was when the consul in the final ... read complete review

Embassy interviewers are VERY much less than civil towards these ladies when they are alone. I MOST STRONGLY advise ALL U.S. citizen fiancé's to be there with their future brides during this and any other processing.

My fiance's interview was on 08 November 2016, at 0645hours. i attended the interview with her, and we arrived at the embassy a little after 0600hrs. The overall process and operation went very smoothly and quickly. We were approved, in and out of the embassy by 0900hrs. The CO did not ask to see any paperwork, no documents...pictures...financials...nothing...
BUT we did have problems..my fiance was nervous, couldn't talk above a whisper, and the CO couldn't hear her or understand a word she was saying.
The CO asked her twice if she want a interpreter, and then he finally got a interpreter on his own volition.
With the interpreter on hand....the very 5 basic questions he wanted answers to were answered.
The CO was frustrated...I was HOT at her....and she was emotional wreck.
But, we was approved.....
Overall, I was very pleased in the way the situation was handle,..I think the embassy and the C... read complete review
